Since the NATO agreement was first established, Armed Forces Personnel, their families and those attached, whilst serving abroad, were entitled to a number of special concessions. One very special concession was allowed for our Service personnel to purchase one Tax Free vehicle per year. VOLVO Car Corporation in Sweden decided to develop a Military sales programme that offered a further saving of between 10% and 15% off the purchase price. When added together with 17.5% VAT saving our UK Armed Forces & Families could purchase a New VOLVO car every year with a massive saving of up to 32.5% from the UK price.
